RAWALPINDI:
The Rawalpindi police on Monday arrested 18 suspects and recovered narcotics and illegal weapons from them.
The Pirwadhi police arrested Shahzeb in possession of 550 grammes of hashish while the Waris Khan police held Zeeshan with 570g of hashish. Meanwhile, the Gujar Khan police nabbed Yasir and recovered 515 grammes of the same drug from his possession.
The Murree police also arrested a suspect, Attique, and recovered 330 grammes of hashish from him. The Ganjmandi police arrested Yasin and recovered 12 bottles of liquor from his possession.
The Rata Amral police arrested Qazi Falak for carrying a pistol while the Pirwadhi police also arrested Shaukat with a 30-bore pistol and four rounds. The Wah Cantt police booked Ghulam Mustafa for possessing an illegal pistol.
Naseerabad police arrested Khalid and recovered 15 bullets from his possession.
