HYDERABAD: A worker of the Pakistan Peoples Party attempted to set himself on fire after his continued protests for the removal of two leaders from Latifabad failed to budge the party. On Friday, Aziz Pathan set his jacket on fire but the people standing around him promptly doused it. He was taken to the hospital but discharged later. Zuhaib Hussain Jarejo, has been leading these protests for the last six days with Pathan. The young men were upset because of the alleged misuse of authority by Ghulam Rasool Kalhoro, who is the PPP’s president in PS-49 Latifabad and Shabir Sangrasi, general secretary of this constituency.
