Malik Ishaq,leader of the banned outfit Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ), who was set to be released from jail on Thursday, has been detained for two more weeks in a double murder case.


An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Multan sent him on a judicial remand to Multan jail on Wednesday till January 7. He is booked in a double murder case of two Shias, SHO of Airport Police Station Rayim Yar Khan Chaudhry Ghulam Mohjiudin told The Express Tribune.


He said they registered the FIR number 245/14 on October 14, 2014 in Rahim Yar Khan police station on murder of Allah Ditta and Moin Abbas, adding that on the complaint of Abbas’s son they registered the FIR against Ahmed Hassan, Malik Ishaq and three unknown accused.


The SHO pointed out that the complainant said the murders took place with the abetment of Malik Ishaq.

Double murder case and held for two more weeks? Wow.. He deserves life in prison or worse.
