Crime: Two ‘kidnapped’

A man was allegedly kidnapped for ransom in Mandra, said a media report on Friday.

The missing man was travelling to Islamabad from Gujar Khan along with his cousin when armed persons intercepted and kidnappen him on GT Road in Mandra.

Nasir * told the police that 12 persons stopped their car in a deserted area, where they offloaded him and took away his cousin.

Meanwhile, a man was allegedly kidnapped on Thursday from his shop in Naseerabad area of Rawalpindi. Fayyaz* told the police that his son, Naveed*, was at his shop in Dhoke Gujran when armed persons in two vehicles kidnapped him. The police registered separate cases. *Names changed to protect identity
