The 2014 amfAR LA Inspiration Gala held at Milk Studios on Wednesday in Hollywood was a night to remember. From sultry silk bodices to dainty sheer gowns — we saw it all. Celebrities sported the most jaw-dropping ensembles to pay tribute to Tom Ford, who was honoured at the event.
Camilla Belle
There was one look at the star-studded bash that deserves some real praise, even if it wasn’t Tom Ford. Camilla Belle completely wowed us in a power pink Carolina Herrera gown, which was simply stunning. With the magnificent dress paired with Chopard jewellery, that look has real potential.
Lea Michele
Lea Michele was the dazzling golden girl of the night. The 28-year-old Glee star donned a Versace sparkling gold dress and Christian Louboutin shoes. Her Fendi bag, Jennifer Meyer jewels accompanied by a beachy wave in her mane, making her a real force to reckon with at the gala.
Lily Aldridge
The Victoria’s Secret Angel looked like a winner in an eye-catching white wavy silk Rosie Assoulin Spring 2014 look. Which appears to be a gown but is actually a top with a strapless sweetheart bodice and draped off-shoulder sleeves styled with a skirt featuring a high-waist silhouette with a trumpet-style hem. The strapless style and exaggerated sleeve made the ensemble a real head turner.
January Jones
The Mad men actor wore a nude shimmering Tom Ford dress which unfortunately failed to electrify. Even with all the embellishments and glitzy shine, the unflattering frock just fell flat. Good looks are definitely at her disposal but this style is beyond disappointing. Bulgari jewels and Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals completed her one-to-forget look.
Gwyneth Paltrow
The Iron Man star and fashion inspiration to numerous wore a tuxedo-inspired ensemble by Tom Ford. She looked gorgeous in a black suit with slits carefully placed at the side of the waist. The 42-year-old actor surely knows how to pull off a mannish suit in impeccable style.
