ICCI says scheme has been launched only for Punjab’s domicile holders

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) has lauded the initiative of the government for launching the Apnarozgar Scheme to provide passenger and cargo vans to the unemployed youth (male/female). It will provide earning opportunities to thousands of youngsters and called upon Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif to allocate certain quota for Islamabad in the scheme to provide earning opportunities to the youth of this region. ICCI President Muzzamil Hussain Sabri said that the scheme has been launched only for Punjab’s domicile holders. He said around 60% of the country’s population is comprised of youth and it is important that this talent is involved to accelerate the pace of economic growth.
