Helping hand: LCCI extends support to traders

LCCI vice president urges concerned departments to solve the issues of traffic

LAHORE: Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry(LCCI) President Ijaz A Mumtaz has said that the LCCI  is playing role of a bridge between the government and the private sector and would leave no stone unturned to get the issues of traders resolved on priority basis. He said this while talking to a delegation of All Pakistan Paper Merchants Association (APPMA). Mumtaz said that LCCI is highlighting the traders’ issues at all forums. He said that traders pay a huge amount as tax but in reply no facilities are being provided to them. LCCI Vice President Syed Mahmood Ghaznavi urged the concerned departments to solve the issues of traffic, poor sewerage system, non-availability of parking and streetlights, interference of tax officials and day by day increasing crimes against traders in the paper market.
