PPFL: PAF defeats NBP to climb to second place

Peshawar outfit has played 10 games so far, winning five, losing three and drawing two

KARACHI: PAF regained second spot in the ongoing Pakistan Premier Football League (PPF) as they defeated NBP 1-0 at Jinnah Stadium in Islamabad on Saturday.

PAF’s Mujahid scored the winner in the 15th minute of the match to take his team to second place, ahead of KPT.

So far, PAF have played 10 matches from which they have won five, lost three and drew the other two.

Afghan FC thrash Muslim FC

In the second match of the day, Afghan FC thrashed Muslim FC 6-1 at Faisal Town Football Ground in Lahore.

Captain Jadeed Khan scored a hat-trick while Zakiullah, Abdul Qadir and Gul Muhammad scored a goal each. Muslim FC’s solitary goal was scored by Sabir Ali.

Afghan FC climbed onto fourth place with 12 points after the win, while Muslim FC stay in sixth.

In today’s fixture, Army will play PIA and KRL will face KE in Islamabad.
