Security guards foil kidnapping bid outside LHC

Woman was leaving court building after a hearing when unidentified men tried to abduct her

LAHORE: Unidentified men on Wednesday tried to kidnap a woman from outside the Lahore High Court, however, failed due to quick response by security guards Express News reported.

Rubina was presented before Justice Abdul Sami for a case filed by her mother, in which she claimed that Rubina was held against her will by three men. The court had ordered security forces to recover Rubina and bring her to court.

During today's hearing, the court said Rubina should go home with her mother, however, as soon as she left the LHC building, unidentified men tried to kidnap her.

The court, when informed about the kidnapping incident, condemned the act and asked police to arrest the suspects and bring them to court.

Strange. The last time a women was stoned to death on the doorsteps of LHC. While the police and security guards stood and watched the tamasha.
