HAFIZABAD: A woman was hammered to death by her in-laws in Hafizabad on Thursday, Express News reported.
The incident took place in a village on the outskirts of the city.
A case has been registered against four people including the mother-in-law and father-in-law of the victim F*.
According to initial reports, Nasir Hussain - who was F's husband - was reportedly murdered by his son and F's in-laws were suspicious that she was involved in the murder.
According to the police, F had an argument with her in-laws, which escalated to her being beaten to death by a hammer.

There seems to be a certain pathology among these people. Human life seems to hold very little for them. The number of occasions when family members mostly women are murdered is quite appalling
Even if they have proof, people should never resort to this type of violence.
Why do people escalate to this without first having proof?
