#100HAPPYDAYS: Fawad, Sonam visit Wagah

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. But we are at a loss for words as we witness this moment. Actors Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan strike a pose next to Pakistan Rangers and a member of India’s Border Security Force at the Wagah Border.

Before attending the event to witness ‘The Beating Retreat’, Fawad tweeted, “Excited to head out to the Wagah border today with Sonam Kapoor – let’s all pray for peace and solidarity.”

Sonam took to her Instagram account to share the picture with her fans, captioning it, “Something I’ll never forget.” Rocking the desi look, Sonam sported an elegant yellow outfit and Fawad, a classic kurta. In their attempt to promote the film, the Khoobsurat cast has been making an effort to bridge the gap between Pakistan and India. Physical boundaries may divide us, but our hearts are in unison.
