Inaugural ceremony: Dr Ziauddin College opens doors

KARACHI: Dr Ziauddin Intermediate College was inaugurated on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, Ziauddin Hospital founder Dr Aijaz Fatima recalled Dr Ziauddin’s passion for learning, the depth of his knowledge in every field and his constant struggle for the promotion of education. Intermediate Board chairperson Prof Anwar Ahmed Zai remarked that the foundation of the college was a journey of knowledge that would continue until every person in Pakistan had been enlightened with education. Situated in North Nazimabad, the institute is offering pre-medical, pre-engineering and medical technology programmes under experienced teachers. Students will also be provided with facilities such as an education block, admission block, library, seminar room and well-equipped libraries.
