FAISALABAD: Police on Friday said a boy who was abducted three days ago had been found. Addressing a press conference, Lyallpur Superintendent Farooq Ahmad Hundal said Jhang Bazaar police had received a complaint that two-year-old Owais Akram had been abducted from Liaqat Town when he was playing outside his house. He said Regional Police Officer (RPO) Muhammad Ehsan Taufail and City Police Officer (CPO) Sohail Habib Tajik also took notice of the abduction and issued orders for his quick recovery and arrest of the kidnappers. He said the police took statements from the boy’s family and began tracing the boy. He said two days after the kidnapping, Akram was released near a shopping centre in Jinnah Colony. He said a case had been registered against the abductors and they would be arrested soon.
