LHC orders police to remove containers

Earlier this month, all entrances to Islamabad were blocked with a total of 900 containers

Lahore High Court ordered Punjab police on Wednesday to remove containers blocking all boulevards in the twin cities.

Hearing the petition filed by District Bar Association president Raja Nasir Mehmood, Justice Tariq Abbasi directed that all the roads leading to Islamabad and Rawalpindi should be cleared.

He also directed that a report be submitted before him.  The high court observed that free movement was every citizen’s right and it should not be infringed by putting up containers on the roads.

It is pertinent to note that the government had blocked all the boulevards because of the sit-ins staged by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Awami Tehreek.

Earlier this month, all entrances to Islamabad were  blocked with a total of 900 containers.

Revolution needs people to work hard selflessly rather than digging graves for others and themselves. Its quite evident that this revolution is directed towards not the system but to a specific person, Nawaz Sharif. It clear that Nawaz doesn't enjoys much support for Force-X and Force-Y since last two decades as he has been trying to shift the power control from jaws of Force-Y towards democracy. There were two main hurdles for Force-Y, one was Benazir and the other is Nawaz. A script wiped Benazir and now IK likewise TUQ are puppets who dance on the script of those who rule the foreign policy of the state. The fall of Nawaz wouldn't be a win for the state and democracy, it would be the fall of state and constitutional writ. We know very well about those who were the saviors of constitutional writ.

If we are talking about right to free movement, then what about the nwfp where even the army is only allowed restricted movement and that too with heavy armament and weapons? For all the years past, who was negligent in this matter? Is anyone answerable for that?
