KARACHI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has formed an Illegal Bowling Action Committee along with several other committees to strengthen the overall domestic structure of Pakistan cricket.
The Illegal Bowling Action Committee will be headed by former Test cricket and chief selector Iqbal Qasim, where he will assisted by National Cricket Academy head coach Muhammad Akram, spin bowling consultant Mushtaq Ahmad, International Cricket Council (ICC) Elite Panel Umpire Aleem Dar and Dr Sohail Saleem.
In case of non-availability of Dar, Ahsan Raza will be part of the committee.
Iqbal Qasim will also head Umpires Evaluation Committee with Shakil Shaikh, Haroon Rashid, Saleem Badar and Saqib Irfan as members.
Meanwhile, a Ground Committee has also been named, which will include Director Domestic Cricket Operations Intikhab Alam, GM Domestic Cricket Operations Shafiq Ahmed, Chief Curator and Ejaz Faruqi, who is a member of the Board of Governors.
