RAWALPINDI:
A 20-year-old woman died under unexplained circumstances in Sadiqabad, it was revealed on Friday.
The deceased, identified as Mehnaz, was married to Arshad and had a three-month-old daughter. Her husband was working abroad and she was staying with her parents. Arshad had returned and also brought his wife home from his in-laws.
On Thursday, she was brought to the Benazir Bhutto Hospital unconscious where she later died. Her parents in their statements said that Arshad telephoned them on Thursday that Mehnaz is in critical condition at the hospital.
Mehnaz was no more when her parents reached the hospital. The police are investigating the case. Meanwhile, Waqas Amjad lodged a report with Sadiqabad police that auto-thieves stole his motorcycle from the parking lot of Bilal Hospital. The police registered separate cases.
