ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that Pakistan would seek World Bank’s support in power generation and infrastructure projects during his upcoming talks with the bank authorities in Washington. He was speaking at a briefing by the Secretary Finance Division Nargis Sethi in Islamabad on Sunday about Pakistan’s partnership with the World Bank. Dar said he would also discuss projects involving water supply and renewable energy resources in FATA and Balochistan. He said the government attaches high priority to tackling energy crises with low cost power generation options like hydro power and improving access to community-led small scale of grid and renewable energy sources. The partnership strategy with the World Bank has been developed in view of the national development agenda.
