Metro bus: ‘Project to be completed in 11 months’

The provincial government is aware of the city’s traffic problems, said Punjab governor.

The Punjab governor has assured local businessmen that a metro bus project for the garrison city will be completed in just 11 months.


Speaking to local businessmen at the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Wednesday, Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said the provincial government is aware of the city’s traffic problems and the metro bus project was approved to solve it.


He said the provincial government would also improve the road networks of the city soon. However, he did not mention how much had been allocated for the project and when it will be launched.
