He gave these directions in a meeting at Prime Minister House which reviewed the anti-terror legislation in the country.
“There is no space for enemy aliens to attack innocent civilians and armed forces and they must be prosecuted with effectiveness,” the premier said.
“We will adopt a coordinated strategy to root out the menace of terrorism.”
He said that the civil administration and military were on the same page to tackle terrorists in Karachi, FATA and PATA.
The meeting was attended by the Army Chief General Raheel Sharif who had earlier in December remarked that military will not tolerate terror attacks and effective response will be given to them.
Also present in the meeting were Minister for Interior Ch. Nisar, , Chief of General Staff Lt. General Ashfaq Nadeem, DG ISI, DG MI and Secretaries of Interior and Law ministries.

@Moiz Omar: For someone to come, pay them in dollars and also do their jobs so those in power can go on foreign "official" visits. afsos....
Great thoughts in the right direction!! Well begun is half done.
You mean to tell me we never even had effective legislation to combat terrorism?! What?! What were they waiting for when we have had terrorism for so long?!
Headline - legally
If both civil-military leadership are on the same page we can expect a better Pakistan in 2014.
"Nawaz wants to legal persecute terrorists"
ET, what kind of a heading is that????? Also Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is wrong when he says: “There is no space for enemy aliens to attack innocent civilians and armed forces and they must be prosecuted with effectiveness.” He needs to target the local extremists, who are causing murder and mayhem, with equal zeal and determination, not only the enemy aliens.
Good decision, Sir, better late than never!
this is funny!!! with 10 years of total terroism in Pakistan.. 1000s of dead.. Pakistan on the top of the list of places with the max number of terroists.. Pakistan does not have laws to deal with terriosts?..what are they waiting for?
One should make sure that he himself make example that is to leading front front. Nawaz along with all the DG's formulating laws for others keeping themselves out. Missing person case is SCAR on people who chooses other to be the law abiding while they themselves are above it.
