BARA:
A man was killed when an improvised explosive device (IED) went off at his house in Naray Baba area of Bara tehsil, Khyber Agency on Wednesday.
An official of the political administration said the deceased, identified as Habib Khan, was in the process of moving his family from IDP camps to their house and had recently begun renovating his residence, which was destroyed during the military operation in Bara.
He added initial investigations revealed the bomb must have exploded as Khan stepped inside his house, killing him on the spot. The gate and boundary wall of the house was also destroyed in the blast.
