Earthquake tremors felt in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Earthquake tremors were felt in Peshawar on Tuesday, Express News reported.

The earthquake of magnitude 4.8 was felt 28 kilometres north of Murghob in Tajikistan reported the US Geological Survey.

People rushed out of their homes and offices in panic as the earthquake tremors struck.

An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale occurred 137 kilometers north west of Karachi on Monday, December 23 evening.

Prior to that, an earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Ricther scale hit parts of upper Sindh and Balochistan on Friday, December 20.
