CHAKWAL:

Chakwal has been declared as one of the most sensitive districts of the country where army troops and rangers, along with police, will be deployed on procession routes and others sensitive places to avoid any untoward incident during Muharram.

This was stated by Chakwal District Coordination Officer during a meeting on Tuesday. He said comprehensive security arrangements were being finalised while heavy contingents of security personnel will be deployed to guard procession routes and imambargahs.

Meanwhile, the police will hold a flag march in the city to ensure foolproof security and maintain vigilance against terrorists. The personnel of Anti-Terrorist Squad, Rescue 15, police commandoes, army, rangers and FC would also be the part of the march, he added.
