Asif won with 93,269 votes while his opponent, Usman Dar from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, received 70,312 votes.
The PML-N candidate was the incumbent, having won from the same constituency in the 2008 elections.

A sad day although peoples showed their interest in election but they still did,n over come on same traditional politics which is driven by same illiterate attitude. Sluite to KPK they proven themself more mature then Punjabi. I also belongs to Punjab but today am not feeling proud to be a punjabi
