The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) announced that there will be no Tests during Pakistan’s tour to the Caribbean this year, according to ESPNcricinfo. The tour will only comprise five One-Day Internationals and two Twenty20s.

WICB Chief Executive Michael Muirhead said the difficulty in finding a window for a full tour was the reason why Tests were discarded.

Meanwhile, WICB President Dave Cameron was unhappy about the absence of Tests. He said there was nothing that could be done to have the decision changed. “I don’t think we are satisfied,” said Cameron. “But circumstances have dictated that that’s what we’re able to put in, and hopefully we’re going to be able to build on that next year.”
