MUMBAI:

Veteran Bollywood actor Anupam Kher felt like a child while shooting at the National Space Centre in London for his upcoming film Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 (YPD2). He feels the place is both educational and entertaining.

The actor, who played Joginder Singh Brar in YPD2, is geared up to surprise his fans as quirky villain Joe Armstrong in the sequel.

“I am playing Joe in YPD2 and this dude is funnily deadly,” said Kher in a statement. “Finally, the shooting of Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 has wrapped up. I had great fun shooting with actors Johny Lever and Sucheta Khanna at the National Space Centre. It is an amazing place to be.”

The 58-year-old said that when he went to the space centre in London, he felt like a kid with his eyes popped out. “It was like the first time I went to see the planetarium with my parents and younger brother,” he said.

“I want to thank the National Space Centre again for the great education during shoots,” added the actor known for his roles in Saaransh, Tezaab, Khosla Ka Ghosla and A Wednesday!.

While actors Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol will reprise their roles from the previous film, YPD2 also features actors Johnny Lever, Annu Kapoor and Kristina Akheeva. The film is directed by Sangeeth Sivan and is expected to release on June 7 this year.
