Second Round: PTI intra-party polls to be held today

Four polling stations have been set up instead of one.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) provincial chief election commissioner on Friday announced a new schedule for intra-party elections in the district.


On January 29, intra-party elections in Peshawar ground to a halt after PTI workers brawled over bribery and poll-rigging. Polling was also disrupted in Mardan and Charsadda districts, while intra-party polls in Multan ended in similar scuffles on Friday.

The party polls for Peshawar district and its four towns will be held today (Saturday). Four polling stations have been set up instead of one.

Polling for Town-1 will be held at Roman Wedding Hall, Dalazak Chowk, for Town-II at Iqra School, Charsadda Road, for Town-III at Lasania Hall, University Road and for Town-IV at Parda Bagh Wedding Hall.
