Burglary: Rs1.26m stolen from two shops

Separate cases have been registered against the suspects under the relevant laws.

ISLAMABAD: Two shops were burgled in Sabzi Mandi on Wednesday night. Tahir Abbas, one of the shop owners, lodged a report with the police that unidentified thieves had entered his and his uncle Maqbool Abbas’s shops by breaking locks at Sabzi Mandi and made off with Rs1.96m cash. He, however, suspected that Muhammad Rashid, a security guard along with some other people might have hand in the incident. Separate cases have been registered against the suspects under the relevant laws.
