KHAR: As peace returns to Bajaur, 38 ex-militants were released after they undertook vocational training at Navi Sahar, an armed forces vocational training institute. Half of the released belong to Mohmand Agency and the remainder from Bajaur Agency. This was the third batch of militants who undertook the 11-week de-radicalisation course. In addition to learning practical skills such as carpentry, electrical wiring and tailoring, the men participated in reintegration sessions through psychological training. The completion of their training was celebrated in an event at the Navi Sahar institute where senior officials, including Bajaur Political Agent Syed Jabbar Shah and Bajaur Commandant Scouts Colonel Shakeel Janjua, participated.
