FAISALABAD:
A man was arrested for allegedly beating his wife to death on Wednesday in Chak 7. Nishatabad police said that Muhammad Yaseen had an argument with his wife Niamat Bibi.
They said he then beat her up with a stick and left when she collapsed. Some neighbours took her to Allied Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. Doctors who had treated her said that she had severe head injuries. Police said Yaseen was a drug addict.
