Successful raids: Two banned outfit members arrested

A suicide jacket, six remote-controls used for detonating bombs were recovered from their possession.

DI KHAN: Police arrested two alleged militants belonging to banned organisations in raids in the New Bannu Chungi area and Pehro Wa tehsil of DI Khan, said a police official at the DPO office. A suicide jacket, six remote-controls used for detonating bombs, a bundle of cables used in suicide jackets, a hand grenade, and six detonators were recovered from their possession. He added that they had received prior information about their hideouts. “These explosive materials could be used in other terrorist activities so we buried them in the ground,” he said.
