Development schemes: LDA employees given permanent jobs

Durrani says that decision was taken on the directives of President Asif Ali Zardari and Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah.

KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Local Government Agha Siraj Khan Durrani announced on Tuesday that non-permanent employees of the Lyari Development Authority (LDA) have now been hired on a permanent basis. He said this after presiding over the fifth governing body meeting of the LDA. Durrani said that the decision was taken on the directives of President Asif Ali Zardari and Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah. The provincial minister claimed the Pakistan Peoples Party had provided jobs to young men on merit whenever it came to power. Durrani also reviewed progress on the Hawkes’ Bay Scheme, and directed officials to ensure that various development projects are completed on time.

Sindh Minister for Local Government Agha Siraj Durrani has been announced all contract employees LDA has been permanent but not implement in this matter so please further take action about LDA Officers.
