K-p’s manpower: NIDA to provide technical training

The DG Technical Education will channelise training for 25 students in mobile repairing trade through NIDA centre.

LAHORE: The National Institute of Design and Analysis (NIDA) will provide technical education and vocational training in the regional extremities of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P). In this regard, NIDA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with K-P’s Directorate General of Technical Education and Man Power Training/Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) to train young men in the mobile repairing trade. The MOU, which has been signed recently, directs both parties to collaborate under the Chief Minister’s Free Technical and Vocational Training Program, TEVTA/K-P. The Directorate General of Technical Education will channelise the training for 25 students in the mobile repairing trade through the NIDA centre in Peshawar.
