Most designers or textiles launch lawn and create hype about their prints and styles and only a few come out with a winter collection. The textile house of Lala is one of the few textiles that launched a winter wardrobe.
It’s good news when you hear about a shawl collection or clothing line that’s offering vibrant colours in thicker fabric, perfect for yourself or as a gift for someone. Lala Textiles introduced their debut shawl collection, “Pashmina by Lala” on November 28.
The Pashmina shawl suits are priced at Rs3,550 and the designs are inspired by traditional Kashmiri embroidery as well as chunri and rilli art. The shirt and shalwar pieces are of linen and are designed to match the shawls, which are just perfect for the cold season!

As a brand, Lala Textiles is diverse and retail other brands providing accessible summer, midsummer and winter fabric ranges. The brands include Vintage, Sana & Samia, La Femme, Kesa, Brocade, Khaddi and Lala Classic.
