The Latin Grammy Awards, an accolade to recognise outstanding achievement in the music industry around the globe, was full of smiling and shining faces.
As the night began, classy divas — along with some distasteful ones, graced the event with their presence. We have picked out eight women to show whether a look that is ‘hot’ or ‘not’ on the red carpet!
Danielle Demski
TV personality Danielle Demski could have looked hot in a one off-shoulder hot pink mini dress, but the former Miss Arizona Teen USA ruined her look with her mismatched nude pumps. Her high bun along with the lack of accessories brought her overall appearance down.
Giselle Blondet
The Puerto-Rican actor Giselle Blondet stood out wearing a crimson gown, sparkling jewellery and her jet-black locks half up with the rest falling freely. With dark eye make-up and nude lips, the 46-year-old TV host looked ravishing all in all.
Natalie Cole
The American singer and songwriter looked elegant in her long pink dress with a beautiful stone embellished belt. The fashionable 62-year-old legend rocked the event in her fuchsia dress, subtle make-up, and electric blue heels.
Odalys Garcia
Cuban actor, model, singer and show host sizzled in a gold metallic maxi dress, with her hair in a French twist and a few matching accessories. The dark eye make-up and pink-rosy lips completed her sexy look. Odalys really knows how to set the stage on fire.
Katia Nicole
With this cute lacey dress, singer Katia Nicole looks more like a doll. Her curled hair, matching earrings and nude sandals make her look adorable, but sadly, more suited for a 10-year-old. Kudos to Katia for the perfect light make-up to save her look from a complete disaster.
Deborah de Corral
The Argentine nominee for Best New Artist forgot that Halloween was last month. Her witch outfit was not fit for an award night. The all black attire paired with golden platforms and a gold necklace was a serious fashion disaster — no points for her!
Zuria Vega
The actor-singer donned a Monique Lhuillier silver embellished sequined bodice, over a nude underlay with a flare tulle hem. With her wavy hair let loose, the Mexican beauty showed off how more golden-toned ladies rock a red lip and nail colour. Her diamond earrings added the extra sparkle to complement her heavenly look.
Lourdes Stephen
Lourdes mesmerised us at the Latin Grammy Awards 2012 in a black, feathered frock. She wore her hair in a tight bun with wavy bangs to the side. Her red lipstick and silver round dangling earrings added just the right amount of oomph to her overall appearance. Two thumbs up for her!
