Since Malala is under medication, her senses were not active and this development was welcomed by doctors.
“(The) health condition of Malala continues to remain satisfactory. Her vitals are okay and she is still on ventilator,” the military said in an update.
“A board of doctors is continuously monitoring her condition,” it added.
After Malala was shot in the head by the Taliban, the doctors who performed surgery on her had expressed fear of a possibility of slight brain damage. However, all of her medical reports came out clear.
Earlier, doctors had said that Malala had a 70 per cent chance of survival and despite improvement, was seriously ill.
Five men detained in Malala investigations
Five more men, including an Afghan national, were arrested on Saturday from the Akbarpura area of Nowshera for the investigation of an attack on Malala, reported DawnNews.
The men detained by security forces on a tip-off included three brothers Inam, Abdul Haadi and Obaidur Rehman and two others, including an Afghan refugee.
The security officials raided a mosque and then a house, where the suspects were detained.
The number of people arrested in the investigation has reached 200, which includes a woman.
District Police Officer (DPO) Swat Gul Afzal Khan Afridi claimed that the mastermind behind the attack on Malala was a man named Ataullah.
Afzal stated that Ataullah hails from Swat’s Sangota region from where police and security forces had detained a number of individuals.
He said that the detainees were shifted to an undisclosed location for an inquest and that they will be brought before the public soon.

My heart falls for Malala and her parents. May Subhan Allah give her so much Shifa. She is so young and very innocent for no reason she has been targeted. Yet very strong Inshaa Allah (Hopefully) give her good health anf fufil her desires.

Just condeming this attack is going to do no good. We need to rebuild schools and colleges for girls in the tribal areas. That will be a great way of honouring her.
Women in tribal areas need education or we cannot expect these areas to develop. Will the taleban treat their mothers like dirt.

I am sure that the war cannot continue forever and someday I will be able to go back and reclaim my life and my identity. My sympathies are neither with the Taleban nor the army. Both have been cruel to us. The Taleban have destroyed us and the army is murdering our people.
These Talibaans do not understand logic. To them “It’s either their way or the highway”! They are scum of the Muslim world. You can not discuss anything with them. The ONLY way to counter them is to GET IN their face. We must help the authorities to clean them up even if it means “ethnic cleansing”. I know it is a strong statement but there is NO other option

We need to defeat taleban in tribal areas or else no one in tribal areas especially girls get any education.
We should now think about educating women in tribal areas controlled by taleban. This will be Malala's desire.
Once she is stabilized, she should be sent to Germany , England or US, for further tests and recuperation, some of these governments has offered help and we should avail it for Salala's sake.She will be needing extensive speech and physical therapy, Please God, help her and her two companions who were also hurt. Our prayers are for all the three innocent victims.
