Dengue arrangements: Cases against 4 Wapda officials

The DCO also warned the new Wapda store in-charge to clean up within three days.

LAHORE: Cases have been registered against two executive engineers, a sub divisional officer and a grid station in-charge after dengue mosquito larvae were found in their areas. The cases were registered on the orders of District Coordination Officer Noorul Amin Mengal, who inspected arrangements to prevent the spread of dengue fever in Wapda Colony, Shalimar Town on Monday. The DCO was unimpressed with the situation at the Wapda Saddar sub division 132 and ordered cases against SDO Rana Waseem and the grid station in-charge. Mosquito larvae were also found at the transformer plant on Sultan Road. Cases were registered against XENs Salim Shamsher and Rao Qamar Wajad. The DCO also warned the new Wapda store in-charge to clean up within three days.
