Vigilance: Bomb squad defuses device

The bomb targeted the police, which frequently patrols the area, says Police.

PESHAWAR: A bomb planted on Frontier Road was defused by the bomb disposal squad (BDS) in Sheikhan village in the jurisdiction of Badhaber police on Sunday. The police was informed about the bomb, following which they cordoned off the area, diverting traffic from the road. The BDS was then called in to defuse the device. Police said the bomb targeted the police, which frequently patrols the area.
