Bahria Foundation: First compensation paid

The families were given the cheques by the governor, chief minister and MNA Faryal Talpur at the Governor House.

The Bahria Foundation has given Rs0.2 million for 178 of the 258 victims of the Baldia factory blaze and Rs0.1 million to four injured survivors.

The families were given the cheques by the governor, chief minister and MNA Faryal Talpur at the Governor House on Monday evening. The provincial government will be next along with the federal government. More philanthropists are expected to pitch in. “Bahria Foundation is with the people who are in dire need of help,” said Zain Malik of Bahria Foundation.
