Bollywood actor Sameera Reddy looked every bit a star at the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Associations of India (CREDAI) awards at the Grand Hyatt, Mumbai.

The actor sported flared, neon yellow palazzo pants with a flowy cropped top and Chanel bag. Sameera sure knows how to pull off a daring look!

Makeup

The actor went for a bronzed out look by smearing shimmer powder one shade lighter than her skin tone all over her face. Her eyes have a lighter shade of silver cream shadow on the inner corner of her eyelid while a darker shade of silver is used on the outer corners to make her eyes look bigger. Sameera went for dramatic eyelashes by putting several layers of mascara. Try local brands such as Luscious and Atiqa Odho for long lasting cream shadows. You could also go for Benefit’s show-offs shimmer powders that come in cute little pots. We are not a big fan of her choice of lipstick, but advise you to opt for Loreal Color Riche Pink Lady (Rs1,500).

Hair

Gone are the days when a ponytail was a boring solution for schoolgirls with frizzy hair. Thank God for evolution! This simple hairdo has now become one of the most fashionable updos of all time and is seen on many fashion runways (Alexander McQueen to Chanel). To get Sameera’s look, add a bit of volume around the crown area by lifting the hair and tying a half ponytail. Spray hairspray generously and back comb. Next, unfasten the half ponytail and make a normal one without touching the crown area. You’d be surprised to see how high fashion you’ll look in just 10 minutes.

Accessories

The rule of thumb in the fashion world says that women with darker skin tones should go for gold tones as it accentuates their beautiful skin tone. Sameera, however, went for chunky silver bangles which are readily available at Mantra, The Gulf Mall or even Sunday Bazaar if you’re in the mood for some steal deals. The actor donned a classic Chanel long chain bag, styles which are easily available in Saddar for not more than Rs5,000.

Outfit

Sameera looks amazing in a Marni cropped top paired with these yellow palazzos. Try economical brands such as Yellow and Stoneage to find something like this top at a cheaper price. Rummage through the racks of brands like Mango, Debenhams and Next (Rs4,000) for palazzo pants or simply stitch your own!
