ISLAMABAD: Advisor to the Prime Minister on Interior Affairs Rehman Malik warned on Monday that an FIR would be registered against Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif in case of a mishap with any Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) legislator in Punjab.

Taking notice of incidents where national assets were damaged and attacks on residences of PPP legislators, he said that the Punjab government has totally failed to provide protection.

Malik added that Sharif is responsible for sponsored disorder, and instead of adopting preventive measures, he is putting the lives of political opponents at risk just to gain political mileage.

He said that it is also the responsibility of the provincial government, especially the chief minister to ensure protection to citizens but he has failed to deliver in an efficient manner.

“he said that the Punjab government has totally failed to provide protection.” Well, in rest of the country, government provides protection only to its cronies. People are left at the mercy of criminals and trader asked to buy arms to defend themselves.

PMLN is taking the easy way out by blaming it on the Federal and not taking their share of the blame! Shame on PMLN for promoting politics of hatred and agitation!

PMLN is notorious for attacking opponents even when they are SC judges. It is no wonder what they are doing especially when they could not topple the govt despite of their best efforts of 4 years.

PPP ruling alliance is responsible for the mess country is in today. People are fed up with electricity shortages and don’t believe yours or anyone else lies in ruling alliance. It is time to start delivering or hit the road.
