ISLAMABAD: With the Opposition in the National Assembly continuing its protests on Tuesday, even surrounding the Prime Minister and the Speaker National Assembly during Tuesday's session, Yousaf Raza Gilani deplored their 'unethical' and 'undemocratic' attitude, which did not help solve the problems of the people.

He said this during a meeting of the Pakistan Peoples Party MNAs and coalition partners at the Committee Room of the Parliament House under his chairmanship to devise a strategy during the budget session.

Addressing the meeting, the Prime Minister deplored the attitude of the Opposition, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), on the budget day and added that it history had repeated itself when the then opposition resorted to rowdyism and the treasury benches had to cordon off the Finance Minister and then Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.

The Prime Minister said that the civil society and the media did not like the extremely un-parliamentary, undemocratic and unethical behavior of the opposition party on budget day.

The Prime Minister said that the PPP and the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) had decided not to disrupt the budget session of the Punjab Assembly where they have about 175 members.
