RATODERO:
In a wide-ranging operation, police from three districts cordoned off and then raided two villages in Ratodero and arrested an alleged criminal, Liaquat Veesar, after an encounter on Sunday.
The police under Larkana SSP Aitzaz Goraya conducted the operation in Gul Veesar and Bachal Veesar villages, after being tipped off about the presence of Liaquat, Imamdin, Badardin and other criminals in the area. The suspects and the police reportedly fired at each other, which drove villagers indoors. Police constable Rab Dino Jatoi was injured during the encounter and was initially taken to Larkana.
