ISLAMABAD: The Shahzad Town police on Saturday apprehended seven law breakers and seized drugs and weapons from their possession. Acting on a tip-off, the police conducted a raid in the Zia Mosque area and arrested Ahmed, Yasir, Akhtar and Abbas while they were planning a robbery and seized weapons from their possession. Meanwhile, the police arrested a drug pusher, Nadeem, during routine checking in Tarlai and seized 1.7kg of hashish from him. Moreover, the police arrested Ahmed and Yasir Aziz during routine patrolling and seized two 30-bore pistols with seven bullets from them. Separate cases were registered.
