Kohistan bus accident kills 15, injures 22

The van went out of driver’s control due to speeding.

KOHISTAN: At least 15 people were killed and 22 others sustained injuries after a passenger bus fell into a ravine in the Komila district of Kohistan area early Thursday, police said.

The accident occurred when the bus was en route to Skardu from Rawalpindi by Karakoram Highway (KKH).

A resident said that those killed included women and children.

According to reports reaching Gilgit, the driver also died in the accident that occurred due to speeding.

Locals of the area on self-help basis immediately launched a rescue operation and pulled out the deceased and the injured and shifted the injured to nearby hospitals.

This is an another side of the coin. plz dont igore the humanistics aspects of the people. Plz dont try to relate this incident with the other ones.
