Non-bailable warrant: Shahzain Bugti, associates consent to arrest

Bugti says he is being framed, adding that he is hopeful of being released soon.

QUETTA:  Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) provincial president Nawabzada Shahzain Bugti, while speaking to the media outside his residence on Saturday, consented to being arrested along with his associates following the non-bailable warrant issued against him, Express News reported.

Bugti told the media that he was being framed and that the case was fabricated, adding that the agencies had made his lawyer “disappear”, referring to his advocate being kidnapped some time ago.

“I am hopeful of being released soon”, Bugti told the press.

Earlier, following the non-bailable arrest warrants issued by Additional Session Judge – V Quetta Sayed Zulfiqar Naqvi against 27 persons including provincial president of the Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) Nawabzada Shahzain Bugti, security forces surrounded his residence on Saturday.

Balochistan Home Minister Mir Zafarullah Zehri entered the house to talk to Bugti who had said that he would address the media after the meeting.

@Much Amused: What amused? Your name is as silly as your comment! There is nothing to be amused of! Is he not your country man? Don't make fun of him. If the govt of India thinks it appropriate and if he wants to come to India he is welcome provided you don't need him. Remember we have provided asylum to Dalai Lama in the face of opposition from one country. May I ask you something? Would you go against the wishes of your all weather friend.
