Homecoming: Mehsud IDPs to return home soon

Authorities have decided to send back 2000 IDP families back to their homes.

DI KHAN: Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of the Mehsud tribe, who fled South Waziristan in 2009 during the military operation against militants in the agency, have been permitted to return home, officials of the political administration confirmed on Saturday. Nawab Khan Safi, assistant political agent of Ladha, asserted that officials, in consultations with the military, have decided to send back 2000 IDP families back to their homes.
