KARACHI:

The Teachers Parents Association of Private Schools Sindh (TPAPSS) warned private school owners and the provincial government to take notice of problems faced by teachers, students and parents and to take concrete measures to address them.

TPAPSS chairman Tanwir Ahmed Khan, along with numerous parents and teachers, held a press conference at the Karachi Press Club on Monday and complained that schools would raise annual fees every year without giving any reason. “Nearly 80 per cent schools raise fees without the consent of the Director Private Schools Institution (DPSI). Parents are also compelled to pay fines for different reasons.”
