The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has rejected Bangladesh Cricket Board’s (BCB) plea to review the last over of the Asia Cup final against Pakistan.
Talking to Express News, ACC Chief Executive Ashraful Haq said that Bangladesh was 'too late' in filing the appeal as they should have filed their complaint to the field umpire or the match referee during the match.
Haq said that the ACC cannot accept BCB’s application anymore.
Bangladesh had said that it would appeal to the ACC to review the last over, accusing Pakistani paceman Aizaz Cheema of deliberately blocking batsman Mahmudullah Riyad from taking a second run.
The BCB chairman had said that Bangladesh would demand five penalty runs which if granted could force the ACC to reverse the result of the match in which Pakistan won against Bangladesh by two runs.

I m from Bangladesh & BCB made this appeal then what's wrong with this ??? In Cricket there we have some Law. If Any team realize that they should appeal on any suspicious activities then they can do it. Any team can do that if it is necessary & ICC/ACC will investigate it so guyz the Appeal is rejected from ACC, it failed ..... You guyz are Winner ..... so just chill ...... enjoy ...... You can't blame to whole Bangali nation for BCB's appeal on it ...... & Why always Bringing the past Bad story of this two countries .... we should not bring those part story Every time (To Bangali & Pak Ppl also).
Now i just want so say Pak won the Asia Cup & Bangladesh Won the hearts & they played the tornament very well .....

when you are desperate you do stupid things, some go for match fixing some try to fix a match when lost. Bangladesh should take heart from their wonderful game, and see this as a learning curve. And World teams should remember that they are no more a walk over!

About the news article - It was a great Cricket match to follow even if one was not a Pak or BD supporter - nail biting moments till the last ball! I have to agree with our Pakistani neighbors - BD could have handled the loss in a better manner!

This is an examplery incident that showed how a single comment can spoil the relation o two countries.i have never seen pk people so divided on a cricket final.almost half were supporter of Bd.Anyhow i wil say we should stop criticizing .it is not wise act to forget every thing after one incident.many Bd supporters disliked the move of their board.

Please show some maturity before commenting on a forum like this .. Games are watched and played to provide some entertainment (on that particular day) not to prove any one is superior or inferior. Bangladeshi team played really well in this tournament and this fact can't be denied .. Yes they should have accepted their defeat in the final match but if they had any doubts then they had full rights to ask ACC for the review. Why do you guys make it such a huge issue is beyond me and shows total immaturity on your part as well. May be they took the decision and match far too seriously but they have an excuse of being new in the game of cricket .. What is our excuse of making such childish comments here from some people even though we have been playing/watching cricket from a very long time.

Bangladesh played well & should have shown grace in accepting defeat. The blistering cricket finale could have resulted in anybody's victory. But registering post match discontent seems just an uncalled-for after-thought reflecting an immature approach to a mature game.
Even the tears of the Bangladesh team members appeared to be an act of self-trivialization. Their exuberant tears gave the impression as if Asia Cup Final was the end of Bangladesh Cricket & at the heart of hearts they believe "Reaching the Asia Cup Final" was just a matter of fluke & not an outcome of their consistent performance and immense talents.

BCB seems like a soar looser! We had so much love for the Bangla players during the final, all that has evaporated now thanks to BCB's Indian friends. Good luck with your appeals in the future but one things for sure, Pakistanis will remmember your sportsmanship or lack of it!
Bangladesh is a grown up economy, they have grown in cricket also, cannot afford a loss against Pakistan since their first day. They were denied by ACC keeping the merits of game , otherwise Afghanistan would invite Bangladesh for a test and one day series and attain victory.
