LAHORE: Justice Sheikh Najamul Hassan of Lahore High Court on Friday while disposing of petitions for recovery of actress Zeba Khan alias Sapna Khan ordered the police to investigate the matter in accordance with law on applications from both sides without being influenced by extraneous factors. Missal Khan, father of Sapna Khan, submitted the applications stating that police were hesitant to register a  kidnap and murder case against Sapna Khan’s former husband, former Punjab chief minister Dost Muhammad Khosa. He said despite court orders in the matter, police were not taking any action. He said before disappearing, Sapna Khan had told him that she was going to Khosa’s house in GOR-I. He said ever since she had been missing. He said that her two mobile phones had also been switched off since then. Khosa had also approached the court seeking recovery of his ex-wife.  At previous hearings, police had informed the court that since June 2010, Sapna Khan had not been seen and her bank account had not been operated. They said there was no record of her having left the country.
