With the onset of spring, students of the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) geared up to run a marathon here on Wednesday, said a press release.

The beautiful warm and windy afternoon proved the perfect setting for the marathon. A large number of students, children as well as faculty and staff members were seen teeming up at the starting line to demonstrate their determination for the sport.

With the students registering till the very last minute and the desi beats of the dhol walas keeping the atmosphere alive, the venue portrayed the spirit of togetherness and festivity.

The first race for the women category started at 3:30pm with an ambulance following the racers.

Despite the tough nature of the challenge, participants pushed their endurance levels and scaled new highs. The event was organised by the NUST Adventure Club.
